If a listing looks like a scam, breaks the rules, or just isn't right, telling us is the single most useful thing you can do. Reports are how we keep the marketplace clean — and reporting takes about a minute.
How to report a listing
- Every listing has a Report listing button near the bottom of the page.
- Click it, choose a reason, add specific details, and submit.
- You can report even without an Apiroi account — just give us a valid email so we can follow up if we need to.
Reasons and when to use each
- Scam or fraud — you believe the seller is trying to defraud buyers (fake products, taking money without shipping, phishing).
- Prohibited item — the listing breaks our rules. See Seller Guidelines for the full list.
- Misleading information — the description is false or dangerously incomplete (for example, honey sold as "raw" when it's clearly been heated and filtered).
- Copyright violation — the listing uses photos, text, or logos you own without permission. For a formal takedown, see DMCA Copyright Notices.
- Other — anything that doesn't fit the categories above.
What to include in your report
- Be specific. "This is a scam" is far less useful than "the seller is asking me to pay by wire transfer and refuses to send a video of the equipment."
- Include screenshots if they're relevant — take them before you report, in case the listing gets deleted.
- Include the listing number, shown on every listing page as
#XXXXX. - If you've corresponded with the seller, describe the pattern of concerning behavior.
What happens after you submit
- You'll get an automatic confirmation email within a few minutes, so you know we received it.
- Our team reviews every report. We don't always share the outcome of each one, but we look at each carefully.
- Depending on severity, we may remove the listing, suspend the seller, contact the seller for more information, or — if the report doesn't hold up on review — take no action.
- If we need more from you, we'll email the address you provided.
False reports
- We track patterns. Repeated bad-faith reports can lead to your own account being restricted.
- If you're unsure whether something is worth reporting, it probably is — err on the side of reporting. Just don't report competitors or sellers you have a personal grudge against.
